I started skiing in 1998 when taken to La Plagne over Christmas as a youngster. I probably wondered what was going on, standing on a chilly mountainside often in whiteout conditions. After large quantities of hot chocolate and some expert tuition, I realised it was easier when I didn’t fall over, and skiing was actually very good fun. Over the following years, I was fortunate enough to be taken on further family ski holidays and with school. I was well and truly hooked.

Upon finishing college, I was keen to work a ski season, so I packed my bags and headed out to Courchevel 1650 where I worked as a Chalet Host. Further seasons followed; one in Val Thorens and then finally in La Tania. It was after that La Tania season someone mentioned it was possible to talk about skiing but live in London, which I thought sounded like a jolly good idea, so London it was. After working for a few different ski companies, I joined Ski Solutions in 2016; I’ve been visiting resorts and passing on that first-hand experience to my clients ever since.

Best Moment

One of my best moments was driving from Denver to Breckenridge in a snow storm, maybe a bit hairy at the time but completely worth it knowing your first day is going to be a huge powder day.
